[Heart of Ohio Trail News & web update notices]

On June 27th, the USA Parade will be in Centerburg as part of the Independence celebration.  The parade begins at 11 a.m..  From noon until 1 p.m., the section of the Trail from the Centerburg Memorial Park to Clayton Street will be closed  for the returning of floats, horses, etc.  

Our next meeting will be Thursday, June 18, 7 p.m. at the senior center (old high school).

We still need volunteers and as much promotion and support as everyone can help with for the June 20 Coaches golf benefit.  The flyer is on the website.  Please continue to help us get the word out.  

Have you seen any interesting plants or wildlife on the trail lately?  If you'd like to see a roster of the flora and fauna spotted along the trail, let me know at j at heartofohiotrail.org, and we'll start a listing on the website.  Even if it's not as exciting as an Ivory-billed Woodpecker or a Quagga, this will give your fellow trail visitors something to watch for.
