Bike Trail Break In Tour
Date/Time: Sunday, April 15th at 2:00pm
Location: Heart of Ohio Trail at Clayton St.
Join us for a 3 mile guided tour of the recently paved HOOT from the beginning in Centerburg to Rt. 3.
On Saturday, January 7, volunteers from the "Trail Friends" group Heart of
Ohio Trails, Inc., were at Rumpke Recycling Center, 301 Columbus Road in
Mount Vernon to receive retired Christmas trees for recycling. People brought their real trees to this location after
removing all decorations from the trees. Some of the trees were shared
with the Knox Fish and Game Association to enhance fish habitat in the lakes
at Foundation Park. The remaining trees were chipped for disposal. Donors contributed well over $300--thanks, everyone who supported this event, including Marty Trese, Host, AM Knox County, 13 WMVO/Eagle 93.7 WQIO. Heart of Ohio Trails, Inc., is a non-profit
corporation under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
